    Thru|Lines Documentary

    Thru|Lines

24 New Yorkers. On 24 Screens. 1 Day.

Thru|Lines is a ‘day-in-the-life-of’ documentary with a twist. The viewer will experience 24 people simultaneously on 24 small screens.

It’s part documentary and part art installation.

Our goal is to find an art gallery or museum that will serve as a home to this project.

We hope to convey the moments of humanity and synchronicity of our 24 subjects as they live a day of their lives, creating, working, and traveling. Throughout the piece, we intend to sync up moments when everyone is riding the subway or eating, catching them in the moments that we all experience regardless of our status in society.

We are shooting entirely on Canon DSLR’s and we’ve painstakingly followed the lives of 5 people so far:

A US State Senator as he deals with the closing of a hospital while attending multiple Chinese New Year celebrations.
A photographer as he shoots the cover of his own self published magazine.
A theater director as she oversees the final day of set construction for her staging of Macbeth.
An enterprising young woman as she loads her food truck and makes fresh juice on the hottest day of 2010.
A sensual dancer as she preps and rehearses a self-choreographed dance piece.

    Who will be next?

If you are interested in applying to be a subject of this piece, please contact us at info@projectpause.com with a short bio and why you would like to be a part of this project.

    Pause Trailer
    Life Stands Still

The story of a young girl taking a cross-country road trip to surprise a childhood friend. But it is the events that happen along the way that force her to dig up her past and wrench her mind to uncover a memory she buried a long time ago.

Inspired by events at the summer camp he went to in his childhood, E.S. Frushtick’s directorial debut tells a story about life on your own. With a captivating performance by Elizabeth Tidy and the New England open road as a backdrop, Pause reminds us that time does very little to help us forget.

    Path Theatrical Trailer
    A Hoboken/Manhattan Love Story

The tale of a Manhattan Guy who must decide if it’s worth staying in his relationship even if it means traveling to Jersey.

After spending his last film in the horrors of the fragile human psyche, E.S. Frushtick decided it was time for a little light-hearted love story. Loosely based on a trip to the Garden State, this New York fable is the wanderlust we all take in our search for a warm body and the choices we make to dine or dash.
